Raised by the Mountain Giant's Raise Mountain ability. This generates 5 patches of Mountain with 14 patches of Desert on either side. If those 28 side patches already have a biome they remain their current biome. If the desert becomes hydrated it immediately converts to Forest. Villages do not spawn in the mountains, but their borders can spread into the biome.
